What your position entails:
We are currently looking to grow our delivery truck loading team.
This is a labor intensive position that requires accurately pulling customer orders that are being setup for delivery on our Competitive Metals' delivery trucks. This position requires good time management to assure each of our trucks go out on time. This team works together to route and stage material in order of the deliveries, and ensures all deliveries are labeled and clearly marked for our drivers. In addition, you may also assist with stocking material, cutting material, properly packaging materials for shipping, pick-up, or will-call. You will be trained on how to use the equipment on-site (shear, bandsaws, ironworker, etc)
Additional responsibilities include:
- Practicing and following proper safety rules and procedures
- Understanding and following proper tagging processes
- Communicating with the sales department about customer orders
- Performing material stock checks
- Interacting with and assisting our customers with any questions they have
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Keeping the employee restroom and locker room clean and organized
- Additional warehouse projects as needed
What is required for this position:
- Prior warehouse experience
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Energy and willingness to work hard!

- Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm
- You will have a Competitive provided uniform after 30 days
