Shearing is a metal fabrication method used to make clean, straight cuts through sheet and plate. Shear cutting provides a straighter edge than traditional methods like torch cutting and offers greater precision. A benefit to having your material shear cut is there is very little kerf, with minimal material lost to minimize waste.
