Steel Plate
Competitive Metals offers hot rolled steel plate in thicknesses ranging from 3/16" to 2"+. Hot rolled plate is a great general-purpose material for use in structural industrial applications and home projects alike. Also available is Hot Rolled “Pickled & Oiled” (P&O) plate which offers a clean, smooth finish resembling that of cold rolled. Hot Rolled P&O is produced when steel mills run the hot rolled plate through an acid bath to remove the scale that formed on the surface of the steel coil when it was cooling.
Steel Plate Features:
- Offered in thicknesses ranging from 3/16” up to 2”+.
- Plates are stocked in 48” x 96” and 48” x 120” and sold by the 48” width.
- Precut plates are available in 12” x 12”, 12” x 48”, 24” x 48”, and 48” x 48”
