Corten Sheet
If you're looking to create outdoor metal art, landscape retaining walls, or planter boxes, Corten steel sheet or plate is the way to go. This type of steel plate is heat treated to harden the outermost layers of material which results in superior corrosion resistance over standard hot and cold rolled steel sheet or plate. Unlike regular steel, Corten develops a coating of dark brown oxidation over the metal that protects the underlying material from further corrosion. Competitive Metals offers Corten sheet in thicknesses ranging from 16 gauge up to 1/4” plate.
