Aluminum Round Tube

Competitive Metals stocks a large variety of sizes in both 6061 and 6063 aluminum round tube. 6061 aluminum round tube offers great strength, weldability and resistance to corrosion; it is ideal for structural applications where rigidity and lightness are paramount. 6063 aluminum round tube is a more formable alloy that offers even greater corrosion resistance but is softer and less strong than that of 6061. Also available is 6061 Drawn Seamless aluminum round tube which is ideal when welding and brazing. Drawn seamless tubing offers tighter tolerances, even greater corrosion resistance, and has excellent formability.

• 6061 Aluminum Round Tube is stocked in diameters ranging from ½” to 4” and in wall thicknesses ranging from .063 up to .500.
• Our 6061 Aluminum Round Tube comes in stock lengths of 20’; most sizes can be purchased by the foot up to 10’.  
• 6063 Aluminum Round Tube is stocked in diameters ranging from ½” to 3 ½” and in wall thicknesses ranging from .063 up to .125.
• Our 6063 Aluminum Round Tube comes in stock lengths of 24’; most sizes can be purchased by the foot up to 12’.
